Redhair Rosy is a six-piece rock band based in Kyoto that includes a VJ. Loud yet quiet, digital yet raw, sincere yet ironic. They believe that beauty lies precisely in contradictions. Formed in 2024 by members of the McFaddin. This isn’t a fresh start—it’s an evolution. The name has changed, and their sound has evolved. But the members remain the same. Even so, their urge to scream remains unchanged. It’s not just about becoming popular. They’re trying to create a “culture.” Lyrics, composition, recording, mixing, video, design—they do it all themselves. DIY isn’t just a means to an end. It’s a “language.” Redhair Rosy is the mothership. A creative, inclusive, and self-reliant space. A band that leaves no one behind. - Even while harboring anger, they haven’t let go of hope. That’s the meaning behind the band’s name. “Redhair” represents anger, and “Rosy” represents our ideals. We expressed what words couldn’t convey by dyeing our hair red. Change doesn’t happen in an instant. It happens within loops, amidst stumbles, and during late-night uploads.
