luvis. A singer-songwriter, track maker, and guitarist originally from Uji City, Kyoto Prefecture, who is based in Tokyo. He handles everything himself, from writing lyrics, composing, and arranging to track production. His music is characterized by an organic sound influenced by jazz, soul, alternative rock, folk, and the elements of nature, combined with a vocal style that possesses a unique expressiveness. He imbues the name “luvis” with the meaning “luv (love) is,” and continues to question “what is love?” throughout his life. Through his music, he connects emotions that exist before they become words to people living in the present and to future generations.
